„the impressive, flawless technique of both performers and the convincing dynamic strength of the piece itself set a highlight right at the beginning of the concert“
Badische Zeitung
“… with the encore of „Entr’Acte“ at breakneck speed and after a long applause, the evening finished, although it could have easily continued much longer…”

Duo Ohrwärmer (Ohrwärmer literally translates into „warming the ears“) – two young aspiring musicians who met in 2013 in Innsbruck and have ever since enjoyed the rich and broad spectrum of repertoire for flute and guitar.
Beside their professional activities at „Tiroler Landestheater“ and „Tiroler Landeskonservatorium“ in Innsbruck, Tyrol, Austria, both musicians dedicate themselves to exploring new music and interpreting well-known music in a new way. An exciting challenge in this smallest instrumentation of chamber music!
They are always in pursuit of suitable tone colors and seek to play with ease: to warm ears with music. Sascha Rathey and Daniel Müller came across their name on a cold winter’s night during a rehearsal in their adopted hometown of Innsbruck.
Ever since, they have more than pleased their audience with their multi-facetted tone colors – be it highly virtuously or seductively, charmingly and catchy.
After playing concerts in Austria and Germany, they were invited to play at the imago-sloveniae festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2017.
